For the last six years, Dora has worked for The Salvation Army leading a team at a local community support service providing practical assistance to people in crisis.
Crisis Accommodation Team Leader
For the past eight years, Marnie has lead a team at a homelessness service that provides support to the community 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Community Development Program Coordinator
For the past eight years, Jeremiah – once a refugee himself – has worked at a service that assists asylum seekers and refugees who have recently arrived in Australia.
Youth Program Manager
For the last five years, Stephanie has worked with young people who have disconnected from school and at serious risk of long term unemployment.
Housing Program Coordinator
Carmel has worked for the Salvos for five years, coordinating a housing program for people experiencing a wide range of issues like homelessness, severe mental health issues, addiction, violence in the home or exiting the justice system.
Family Violence Intensive Case Manager
Melanie is coming up to ten years of service with The Salvation Army. She works with women and children who have experienced violence in the home and helps them to rebuild their lives.
After Hours Support Worker
Jeff works at a men’s homelessness service and is able to use his own experiences to support men who find themselves in need of short or long-term accommodation.

Caitlin is 19 years old and has been a Red Shield Appeal volunteer for as long as she can remember and loves the opportunity to support her local community in a meaningful way.
